A week-long workshop for students aged 9–13. Participants develop an idea, write a script, shoot and direct their own short film and present the finished piece. Every stage of the production process covered. Small groups, so everyone has a real role and a real contribution to make.

A media literacy workshop exploring how news, documentary and social content is made, framed and sometimes manipulated. Students look at real examples, practise the journalist’s toolkit — research, verification, interviewing — and produce a short piece of their own. Particularly relevant for schools covering digital literacy.

AI & Digital Confidence — For Older Adults
Practical sessions for people who want to understand AI and digital technology on their own terms. Clear language, real examples and plenty of time for questions. No previous experience required.
Making Life Easier with AI
A hands-on introduction to AI tools that are already part of everyday life — ChatGPT, Alexa, voice search and the AI features built into smartphones and tablets. Participants explore what these tools can actually do and leave with a handful of things to try for themselves.
AI Without the Jargon
A clear session on what AI is, how it works and what to be cautious about — without hype or technical language. Participants leave with a grounded, honest understanding of AI’s capabilities and a practical sense of how to use it safely.
Staying Safe Online
Scams are more convincing than they used to be. AI-generated images and fake messages are harder to spot. This session builds the skills to recognise online deception, protect personal information and feel more secure in a changing digital landscape.
Community Storytelling
A creative session for community groups who want to document and share their own stories. Participants learn to use film, interviews and photography to capture local history or community life. No experience necessary.
