Kiran’s workshops are practical, accessible and shaped around the people in the room. Sessions can be delivered as one-off workshops, short courses, holiday programmes or organisation-funded community sessions.

A creative filmmaking workshop for young people aged 9–13. Participants learn storytelling, camera skills, directing and teamwork before creating their own short film.

A creative workshop helping groups capture local stories through film, interviews, photography and digital media.

Kiran’s work brings together storytelling, practical learning and confidence-building. Recent projects include youth filmmaking, school video training and AI literacy sessions for older adults and community groups.
Kiran recently delivered a relaxed and practical AI workshop with the MNDA group at The Neston Club & Parkgate Clubhouse. The group explored ChatGPT, Alexa, QR codes and simple tools that can make everyday life easier.
The session was full of curiosity, questions and laughter, showing that technology adoption is not really about age. Often, it is about mindset, confidence and the right support.
Future Filmmakers is returning for a second year at The Neston Club & Parkgate Clubhouse. The week-long workshop gives young people aged 9–13 the chance to step behind the camera, learn storytelling skills and shoot and direct their own film.
The small-group format gives each participant the space to contribute, experiment and grow in confidence.
Kiran worked with Wirral Grammar School for Boys on a video project designed to inform prospective Year 7 students about the 11+ test. She worked closely with staff, students and parents, guiding the concept, script, filming process and final edit.
Students were trained in essential filming techniques and helped bring the school’s story to life. The finished video received positive feedback on the school’s website and social media channels.
Participants do not just sit and listen. They try things for themselves, explore useful tools, ask questions and practise in a supportive setting. Whether they are using AI, experimenting with creative technology, learning digital safety basics or creating content, the focus is always on learning by doing.
The workshops are designed to feel relaxed, friendly and personal. With smaller groups, everyone has the chance to ask questions, receive guidance and move at a pace that feels comfortable. This is especially important when people are trying something new or building confidence with technology.
The skills gained go well beyond one workshop. Participants learn how to think creatively, communicate clearly, solve problems and use digital tools more confidently. From understanding AI to spotting unreliable information, these are practical skills that can support learning, work, hobbies, family life and everyday decisions.
Technology can feel overwhelming when it moves quickly. The workshops create space for curiosity, experimentation and reassurance. Participants are encouraged to try, explore, make mistakes and discover what modern tools can do in a way that feels useful, safe and human
Every session is designed to leave participants with something practical: a clearer understanding of AI, a new digital skill, a creative idea, a short piece of content, or simple techniques they can continue using at home, school, work or in their community.
Workshops are welcoming, inclusive and carefully guided. Whether someone is confident, cautious, young, older, experienced or completely new to the subject, they will find a space where questions are encouraged and nobody is made to feel left behind.
Our workshops run throughout the year in venues across Wirral, Merseyside, Cheshire and Manchester. Programmes can be shaped for schools, libraries, charities, community groups, youth organisations and older adult networks.
Whether you are interested in AI literacy, digital confidence, online safety, creative technology or youth filmmaking, we would be happy to talk through what would work best for your group.
